As a Virtual Assistant, your job is to help your clients make their business more efficient. But how do you start? It can be a lot to navigate, especially if you’re new.
I’ve been a Virtual Assistant for almost a year now, and I’m still finding new apps that align with me. I like apps that are straightforward, easy to navigate, and efficient. I think that’s the goal for all of us when looking for apps right?! I’ve gone through a lot of trial and error before finding my go-to apps, and I’m here to share them with you!
Here are the top 6 apps I use as a Virtual Assistant to make my life easier:
A free graphic design tool that’s great for content creation for all platforms. From IG to Facebook, to LinkedIn, to website creation. Canva has a large array of features that allow you to edit photos without extensive photo editing or graphic design knowledge.
With IG favoring video content, InShot will be your new go-to app. This app allows you to edit the format of your content to make it suitable for various platforms. On this app, you can also add music, voiceovers, text, and emojis to your video.
Ideal for the bloggers out there! Answer the Public is a keyword tool the visualizes search questions from Google and Bing to give you a list of the most looked up phrases from your target audience. As you provide the answers for the phrases, you boost SEO to your blog/website.
Trello is a collaboration and project management tool that organizes your projects into boards. This is great for working with a team or working one on one with a client. In just one glance, Trello tells you what’s being worked on, who’s working on what, and where something is in the process. Kind of the equivalent of a virtual whiteboard.
Slack is a free messaging app that can be used for team chats, as well as one on one chats with clients. You’re also able to send files and even integrate with other apps.
Planoly is an official IG and Pinterest partner. An easy-to-use visual platform that allows the ability to schedule on multiple platforms. Ideal for seeing the aesthetic of your feed BEFORE posting.
These 6 apps are the perfect balance of convenience and effectiveness. They help me get things done quickly, with minimal effort on my part. Are they any that you use that I missed? Let me know in the comments!
